Eating more raw foods is the easiest and quickest way to improve your health. No matter how ‘raw’ you want to go (or stay), you’ll find information here to inspire and motivate you to reach your goal.   

The thing that surprises people when they get introduced to the raw vegan diet is just how delicious and simple the meals are.  

A divine raw chocolate pudding can be made in 3 minutes by blending bananas with an avocado, fresh dates and cacao (raw chocolate powder).

My favorite winter drink is a creamy warm chai latte made with almond milk and chai spices, sweetened with stevia or dates.  
 
So what are raw vegan foods? Basically anything we can gather from the earth or the sea that is health giving, such as fruit, veggies, seeds, nuts, sprouts, roots, edible wild flowers, edible wild greens, herbs, spices, cacao beans, sea vegetables, grasses, pulses, beans and grains. These foods do not get heated above 105C, so that all the enzymes stay alive and you don’t loose nutrients.

A raw foodist is a person that gets at least 80% of their calorie intake from raw vegan food. The rest of the diet consists of whole foods. These are organic where possible. So how raw should you go? If you really want to feel and see the benefits, aim to get at least half of your calories from raw foods.
 
This way of eating is not just an alternative to the S.A.D, the Standard American Diet, which the Western world is eating today, but rather a ‘going back’ to where we came from.

You can choose to leave behind the world of purely profit driven, packaged, factory produced, genetically modified foods with trans fats, high fructose corn syrup, aspartame, MSG and other excitotoxins  and killer poisons.
